Intel Retires Arc A750 GPU: End of an Era

Farewell Arc A750: Intel Officially Ends the Life Cycle of Its Arc A750 Limited Edition GPU

Intel has officially announced the end-of-life (EOL) for its Arc A750 Limited Edition graphics card. This marks the end of a significant chapter in Intel's journey into the discrete GPU market, as the company shifts its focus toward next-generation architectures.

What Happened?

  • On June 12, 2025, Intel issued a Product Change Notification (PCN #856777-00) declaring that the Arc A750 Limited Edition will no longer be produced.

  • The final order date is June 27, 2025, with last shipments scheduled until September 26, 2025, or while supplies last.

  • This EOL announcement affects only the Intel-branded Limited Edition card, not the versions made by Intel’s AIB partners (like MSI, ASRock, etc.).

 Arc A750: Quick Specs Overview

  • Launch Date: October 2022

  • Architecture: Alchemist (DG2-512 / ACM-G10)

  • Key Specs:

    • 3584 shading units

    • 28 ray tracing cores

    • 8GB GDDR6 memory

    • HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.0 support

This card was designed to target the mid-range gaming segment, offering competitive performance at an affordable price.

❓ What Does “End-of-Life” Mean?

In this context, EOL means Intel will stop producing and shipping the Limited Edition version. However:

  • Software support and driver updates will continue, so current owners are not abandoned.

  • Third-party manufacturers can still produce their own versions of the A750, as long as they have access to the chip.

 What About Other Arc GPUs?

  • The Arc A770 Limited Edition is also listed for EOL, with final orders closing by November 18, 2025, and shipping until May 20, 2026.

  • The Arc A-Series mobile GPUs (like A370M, A770M) are also phasing out with similar timelines.

  • The Arc A380 and A580 desktop GPUs remain unaffected for now, though Intel may announce updates in the near future.

 What’s Next for Intel GPUs?

Intel is moving forward with its next-gen GPUs:

  • Battlemage Series (2nd Gen): Launched in late 2024 and early 2025, including the B570 and B580.

  • Celestial Series (3rd Gen): Still under development, but expected to target high-end enthusiasts.

These newer GPUs are expected to offer better performance, efficiency, and feature support compared to Alchemist-based cards.

Should You Still Buy the A750?

  • If you find a good deal on the Arc A750, especially for 1080p or 1440p gaming, it’s still a solid option with ongoing driver support.

  • However, for future-proofing, it’s worth considering newer Battlemage GPUs, which offer better optimization and long-term support.

 Final Thoughts

Intel’s decision to discontinue the Arc A750 Limited Edition marks the natural end of its first wave of discrete GPUs. Despite a rocky start, the A750 offered decent performance for its price point. As Intel gears up for its Battlemage and Celestial series, gamers and PC builders can expect stronger competition in the GPU market in the years to come.
